Men on the Moon - Writing Summary
The Americans wanted to be the first to touch the moon because they could learn from studying the rocks and dust.
In 1969, on July 20th, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Mitchell Collins, they walked up a metal staircase to get into the Eagle, which was the rocket's nickname.
After visiting Tranquility Base, they took moon rocks and dust home with them to Planet Earth.

Hi Maddison,
ReplyDeleteWhat great writing you have done about the Men on the Moon. I like the way you have stated the facts about the mission. I wonder how the rocket got the nickname Eagle. How do you think it would have felt on the surface of the moon?
